The Kiwanis Teddy Bear Picnic will be taking place at the Burford Fairgrounds ( 6 Park Ave, Burford, ON N0E 1A0) on Sunday, June 7, 2026 from 1:00pm - 3:00pm! Free Admission!
There will be games to play, face painting, entertainment from performer The Barry Kidshow and much much more. A Teddy Bear Clinic will be there for children to bring their Teddies or treasured companions for their annual medical checkup.
Be sure to visit the KIWANIS TENT for a "jellybean in the jar" guessing contest.
Every child bringing a Tedy or other stuffed animal to the event will be eligible to enter a draw for a special prize sponsored by Jim and Karla Stonham. Head over to the PEAK REALTY TENT before 2:00pm to fill out a ballot. There will be a canteen with hot dogs and a few other tasty treats and drinks for cash purchase.
ART CONTEST:
Have you child draw/colour/paint a picture of a Teddy Bear and turn it in to the KIWANIS TENT before 1:30pm. To make the judging fair for all the kiddies who work hard on their masterpieces, please use 8.5 x 11" paper only. The artwork will be judged by two age categories - up to and including age 5 and ages 6-8. On the back, put the artist's name, age, and an adult phone # for contacting the winners. One entry per child only please.
MOST CREATIVELY DRESSED TEDDY BEAR or other stuffie) CONTEST:
Judging will take place at the KIWANIS TENT at around 2:00pm. Listen for an announcement around that time.
